There is a thought that has been playing in my mind a lot lately...

When the husband and I were driving along the freeway a couple of days ago - he asked me then what this thought was and I attempted to put it into words. It doesn't worry me if I sound stupid with him; he knows me too well. I replied:
"I just keep wondering what it would be like if I could retrospectively go back in time. How far would I go? Also, knowing what I know now, what would I change?"
He laughed. In the past he has said that he would just look for me earlier :) A lovely thought, but I had a lot of growing up to do and he might not have liked the person I was when I was younger.

I am not about to refer to advanced arguments on the concepts, pros and cons of time travel. There are many different arguments about the nature of time and whether it would be possible. It is pure indulgence on the other hand, to allow yourself to pick a time in your life where you could flick a switch and travel back to. At this point, wrongs could be righted, we could see again those dear to us that we have lost and of course, from 2008, we could buy some Bitcoins and become multimillionaires lol!
How would our lives be now? I don't know. I guess I do know that languishing in these thoughts is very self indulgent. I lost my father in 2009 and would love to see him one more time! Still, the mistakes I have made have formed a network that has brought my life together. My son, husband, our home and of course this happy ginger cat beside me!
It would be nice to travel back and buy a pile of Bitcoins 10 years ago (and fix a few other things!) but I would not want to jeopardize what I have now. I'll stay here :)
