If there’s one thing you must never lose, it’s your sense of wonder—the exact words of a dear friend who is no longer with us; this has become my daily motto. Every day when I go out to take photos, I ask myself, “What will I discover today?” and I let everything surprise me. This time it was graffiti; I’d never seen most of it before, so I just enjoy it—I don’t judge, I don’t try to explain it, I just observe the art and how it interacts with its surroundings. Si una cosa nunca debes perder es la capacidad de asombro, palabras textuales de un gran amigo que hoy no está ya presente; esto se ha convertido en lema para mi diario vivir. Cada día que salgo a la calle por fotografías, me pregunto: "¿Qué descubriré hoy?", y dejo que todo me sorprenda. Esta ocasión fueron los grafitis; la mayoría es la primera vez que los veía, entonces los disfruto, no juzgo, no trato de dar una explicación, solo observo el arte y cómo interactúa con su entorno.
