My early morning walks have been getting darker and darker as winter approaches. On this recent morning I was fortunate enough to have a full moon to help light the way. Most moon shots I take with my phone camera are never really that good. The moon always comes across as small and blurry. None the less, I decided to give it another try and also use the night mode setting for a few of the shots on my Samsung S20 FE. Here is what I got. 馃檪
The mountains and the moon

Starting my walk the first thing I noticed was the bright streets and the size of the moon. I got out the phone and took a couple pics in normal mode. Things are a little fuzzy and zooming in makes it somewhat worse.
As I reach an open field with some mountain views I try a couple more shots in normal mode. The zoomed shot on the right seems to brighten up with the lights from the structures on my right.
And lastly from a week earlier in the pitch black I tried capturing the glowing eyes of this deer in normal mode with my headlamp on. I was somewhat perplexed for a while how my phone and hands were in the shot being taken by my phone. Took me a bit to realize it was their shadow on the ground that I was seeing. 馃榿
