No Plan, Just Luck./ Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, my dear friends at #blackandwhite. I want to tell you that this has been a week full of surprises; lately, I’ve been going out without much of a plan and letting the streets take me by surprise; sometimes these surprises come at the last minute, but almost always when you least expect them.

Saludos, mis estimados amigos de #blackandwhite. Les cuento que esta ha sido una semana de sorpresas; últimamente salgo sin muchos planes y dejo que la calle me sorprenda; a veces estas llegan a último momento, pero casi siempre cuando menos lo esperas.

After walking several kilometers, I sat down to rest in front of a house and have a drink; that’s when I saw this little cat doing the same thing I was, but soaking up some sun. He was under a chair and staring right at me, as if to say, “What are you waiting for? Take my picture!”

Después de caminar varios kilómetros, me siento a descansar al frente de una casa y tomar algo; entonces veo a este gatico haciendo lo mismo que yo, pero tomando un poco de sol. Estaba debajo de una silla y me miraba fijamente, como diciendo: "¿Qué esperas para hacerme la foto?".

On the harbor avenue there’s this statue of poseidon, complete with his trident and all, and even though I’ve walked past it hundreds of times, I’d never stopped to look at it. But just like what happened with the cat, I sat down to rest and looked up—and the sight took me by surprise; that’s when I realized I had my photo.

En la avenida del puerto está esta estatua de Poseidón, con su tridente y todo, y mira que he pasado cientos de veces por allí y nunca me había detenido a observarla, pero igualmente que me pasó con el gato, me siento a descansar y alzo la vista, y la imagen me sorprendió; allí me di cuenta de que tenía mi foto.
