Greetings hivers.
It鈥檚 been a few days since I last went out on the streets. Between the blackouts and the need to adapt things at home to this imposed new normal, most of my time has been taken up.
But I never miss the chance to pick up my camera. Here I鈥檓 sharing a selection from a photoshoot I did for a birthday girl who came to my studio. I鈥檓 really happy with the results, by the way.
When a client changes their social media profile picture to a photograph taken by me, there鈥檚 a certain feeling of accomplishment that I can鈥檛 really explain, but it feels amazing.
I think that鈥檚 when you realize photography goes far beyond just taking pictures. It鈥檚 about capturing a moment that someone wants to show to the world, a version of themselves they feel happy and identified with.
Sometimes, with so many difficulties around us, it鈥檚 easy to forget how meaningful this profession can be, but sessions like this remind me why I keep carrying a camera every single day.

Hace unos cuantos d铆as que ni salgo a la calle, entre los apagones, la necesidad de ajustar cosas en la casa para la impuesta nueva normalidad, me ocupa mucho tiempo.
Pero nunca dejo pasar la oportunidad de disparar la c谩mara, aqu铆 les presento una selecci贸n de una sesi贸n de fotos que le hice a una cumplea帽era que vino a mi estudio. Muy conforme con el resultado por cierto.
Cuando un cliente cambia la foto de perfil en sus redes sociales por una fotograf铆a hecha por mi, hay un cierto sentimiento de logro que no se como explicar pero es genial.
Creo que ah铆 es donde uno entiende que la fotograf铆a va mucho m谩s all谩 de una simple imagen. Es capturar un momento que alguien quiere mostrarle al mundo, una versi贸n de s铆 mismo con la que se siente identificado y feliz.
A veces entre tantas dificultades uno olvida lo importante que puede llegar a ser este oficio, pero sesiones como esta me recuerdan por qu茅 sigo cargando una c谩mara todos los d铆as.
