I am a sucker for a good brownie. And let me tell you these fudgy brownies are out of this world delicious. If you are a fan of brownies you have got to give this recipe a try.
Ever since I was little I couldn’t get enough of brownies. I love chocolate and I love the consistency of the brownie, well anything chocolate really. It’s hard to choose between cake and brownies for me, but these fudgy brownies might just be my all-time favorite chocolate dessert.
They are incredibly easy to make with simple ingredients. If I can do it, you can do it. Let’s get baking!
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup oil canola, vegetable, olive, coconut, etc. (118g)
- 3 Tbsp water 45ml
- 1 teaspoon vanilla 1ml
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar 250g
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 90g
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder 78g
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar 60g
- 1/2 teaspoon salt 2g
- 2/3 to 3/4 cup chocolate chips milk, dark, semi-sweet, etc (107 to 120g)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325 F/162 C. In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, water, oil, and vanilla extract. Then add in the white granulated sugar and whisk that in.
In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt.
Next, mix the dry ingredients in a third of it at a time with the egg mixture. Switch to a wooden spoon or sturdy spatula.
Once mixed all together, fold in the chocolate chips.
Prepare an 8x8 inch pan by lightly spraying it with cooking spray. Then add a piece of parchment paper, and lightly spray the inside. Pour the brownie batter into the pan. Use a spatula to get it all out and to level the top.
Now bake the brownies for 40 to 50 minutes until when you poke it in the center with a toothpick, it is almost completely clean.
Allow the brownies to cool down completely for about 1 and a half hours. Then remove the brownies from the pan and cut them up. You can get 9 large servings up to 18 small servings. Enjoy!
