Madrid-Style Pork Chop
Hello, friends who love good food and have a refined palate—thank you for taking the time to read the content I post in the @hivefood community. It’s a pleasure to greet you all. Welcome to my blog.
Today I’m stopping by this community to share a delicious recipe I made for lunch with my family: a tasty dish of Madrid-style pork chops. I’ll tell you right now—it turned out absolutely delicious.
Madrid-style pork chops are a typical Spanish dish. I learned how to make this from a neighbor—a Spanish woman—many years ago. Ever since she taught me how to prepare it, I make it for my family from time to time, and they love it. I’ll tell you that it really is a very simple and quick recipe to prepare. It has a bold flavor thanks to the garlic, olive oil (or margarine if you don’t have olive oil), and paprika.
This dish is characterized by its main ingredient, pork chop or pork loin, which is marinated in a mixture of crushed garlic, onion, oregano, paprika, sweet chili pepper, and aromatic herbs such as whole oregano, which gives it an incredible flavor and aroma.
Now I’ll list the ingredients I used and the step-by-step instructions for preparing it.
Ingredients
- 3 good-sized pork chops
- 2 heaping tablespoons of margarine
- 1 small white onion
- 1/4 green bell pepper
- 2 sweet peppers
- 2 tablespoons of eche in powder
- Oregano, white pepper, and salt to taste
Preparation
The first thing I did was wash the pork chops thoroughly with plenty of water. I seasoned them with oregano, salt, pepper, sweet chili pepper, and paprika—all finely chopped—and let them marinate for an hour in a covered container. Next, I took a skillet, placed it on the stove with the margarine, added the juices released by the marinated pork chops, added the onion and crushed garlic, and let them cook until translucent. I added the milk, stirred, and let it cook until it formed a somewhat thin sauce. I added the pork chops, covered the pan, and let them cook for fifteen minutes.
That's all for this post. I hope you enjoy it, and I'll see you soon with a new post.

Finally, after 15 minutes, I uncovered them, tasted them, and checked the texture; they were delicious, fragrant with oregano, and had an excellent flavor and a very smooth texture. The Madrid touch comes from the use of paprika, onion, and garlic, which reflect the essence of traditional cuisine from Madrid (Spain);
Spaniards achieve incredible flavors in their cooking by using just a few high-quality ingredients.
