Today, I am happy to share a few highlights from my visit to the Calabria region in Italy. The establishment I visited is located in Tropea. My friend and I ordered some desserts to sample the local flavors. The citrus glaze further enhanced the taste of this sweet treat.
This is a so-called Tartufo al pistacchio, an Italian pistachio-flavored gelato, coated in crushed pistachios and featuring a creamy filling.
This dessert consists of warm, rich chocolate with a soft center.
