Yesterday I prepared a mysterious red stew on The Big Green Egg
I cooked it for almost 8 hours 👩🏼🍳
Chili was created as a dish for travelers and cowboys 🤠in The Wild West
The ingredients, such as dried meat, peppers 🌶 & herbs, were all easy to transport in saddle bags 🐎and could not spoil
The chili could be prepared everywhere, above a campfire 🔥
Not only Cowboys but also the villains of the Wild West were served chili
I served my Devils Stew with a green salad and tortilla chips with melted cheese 🧀
