Continuing from my last post, the corporate drama continues.
In almost two weeks, many things have happened. The situation got normal, the relationship with that senior got better, but the lesson and future moves were learned. One thing I understood is that as long as we don't speak up, things will always be unfair to one side.
Things are settled, none touching my repositories anymore. I'm also gradually exploring taking control of all that messed-up stuff, trying to understand how much change has been done, how much I need to dig, explore, understand, and plan to move forward. Because without understanding the surface, I won't be able to plan my next moves. Another thing: from now on, I won't let anyone go as they want with my stuff, because the same shit can't be handled twice.
Fast forward to another week, I started writing and got lost twice; in between, so much happened. We had been under a cyberattack. A nightmare for the security team, me, one of the core guys responsible for mending the damage, investigating, reporting, remediating, and planning further posture. Slightest of carelessness in the security field can cause huge damage; the impact isn't limited to an individual; it escalates to the whole org. The last attack, it was a devastating one but we did manage to mitigate it before getting escalated to worse situations; it was a close call.

Recently, I have noticed one thing: I'm always busy with my office stuff, whether I'm in the office or at home. Always deep-diving into those; sometimes it's someone's mess, sometimes my immense workload that goes beyond my working hours. It's kinda hard to balance work life and our normal life. A corporate 9-to-5 isn't really tied to 9 to 5, especially if you're in the tech industry. That flexibility to work from anywhere is kinda making the shit out of us. Comfort that is backfiring at its peak.
I'm seeing how things are affecting me; every day or tomorrow I stay awake till 3/4 AM and then go to bed to wake up again around 8 AM to set out for the office. My body is going through a serious level of pressure; just because I'm an adult, my body isn't feeling much. But I do pray and hope that this extreme push to myself doesn't hamper my body negatively in the long run.
I don't know how to manage evrything, its getting uncontrolled. Everything seems to be falling apart whenever I try to do a little differently. It's like things have stood in the wrong way, and even if I try to change a piece from the stack, the whole stack will break down.
Everything is in Almighty Allah's hands; all I'm doing is pushing myself at its peak to achieve whatever at my limits. Let's see how far I can push myself and what more can be achieved, and I'm not stopping unless I see the good days..
Keep me in your prayers,
Have a great day,
Take Care.
