’For better than never is late; never to succeed would be too long a period.”
-The Yeoman's Tale
The love for deadlines is never-ending. No matter how big the time frame or how significant the task is, I would strike at the last moment for sure. Why? I don't even know the exact reason, maybe I am just a lazy ass who doesn't move unless the last bell rings.
This time it's quite funny,
We have a team of three but the submissions are meant to be individual and the sum of the results will give us points. Maybe one individual will drag the points for the whole team whereas another team might compete with their all team member's results. Not teamwork but still the results go to the team's pocket.

Three-week time frame, in the meantime what did I do? I had year-final exams, which are still ongoing. I had a short trip to Cox's Bazar, lol. Had to attend a wedding, and had to late submit another task's report. After all this, I got three or five days of break for this one. Still, I am a lazy ass, waiting for the last bell. Friday was the deadline, we got a mention for submissions or else we would lose points for sure. My teammates panicked, mentioned me, and asked if I had done anything or not. We were gonna get a big fat ZERO for this task. He was on the mid-sea like me, he had more important stuff to do that I know very well.
So I sat down to do as much as I could within the deadline. My plan was to keep doing it and submit it at the last minute. It is better late than never. So almost six hours of straight dedication, I was able to put a decent amount of work on the plate. It was 11:45 and I thought of putting the full stop and hitting the send button.
Okay, I did what I could. I was the only person to submit the task from my team, my other teammate was a perfectionist, he doesn’t submit anything randomly unless he is one hundred percent sure about it. I appreciate that but now it was a matter of delivering something instead of empty plates. Guess what, there were only a few submissions, and our team was on the top of the leaderboard, lol. In the previous task, we got the only points beating them all. Now we got points equal to another team but the total point took us to the top and appreciation. Isn't it bingo?
Maybe we could have gained more if we were serious about the task, or got a zero on the task that brings us equal to the others in the leaderboard. But, one attempt to do whatever I could was enough to hit the bull's eye.
So yeah, never let go of the opportunities without giving that a try. Maybe those attempts might not be perfect but satisfying ones are enough to give a decent output, like the one I did here.
