"I can't accept her disappearance all of a sudden. Left a hole inside my life which can't be fulfilled without her. When she was taking her last breaths into my arms it was like piercing my heart into pieces. How can I forget that moment that truck hit us and she got injured massively, no way I could stop the bleeding. I don't know what happened there that feels like a bulldozer on my whole world."
Three months have passed and Shihan is stuck in this bed. Can't move or sit because he doesn't have his legs anymore. He lost them physically and the mental loss is immeasurable. Often he gets hyper and keeps shouting, calling her name, total madness. Keeps repeating the same lines whenever he remembers the accident of that day. Both physical and mental treatments are going on but no improvement. Lost legs, totally paralyzed and mentally scattered.
Surprisingly, a few days later there was a massive improvement in his mental health. He was like back to his jolly days. There was only one man with whom he shared his moments, his friend Ahnaf. Hearing everything, Ahnaf felt that his friend had gone completely mad. Mad? Yeah, because he believes that she has come back to him. But that's impossible, on that day she was dead on the spot. Maybe he went mad at her love and that's why feeling like that. Shihan says that her soul is here, came to cure him, came to fulfill all their incomplete promises, their dreams. He can feel her around him all the time. Being paralyzed he can't go with her or touch her but he can feel the warmth of her, love of her like old days. Ahnaf and his family feel pity for him, both mentally and physically he is done. Shihan tries his best to make them believe him, he isn't mad, she is back to him but as a soul. They were meant to be together forever and that's why she is back with her soul, this is the place where the love comes from, the body is just a medium of expressing it. Well, his family was cooperating with him because his mind was responding like normal people. They were somehow relieved that he is improving and soon will overcome this dilemma too. He will understand that all this is just an illusion of him, nothing else because that's not possible.
There was no improvement from this condition, he was sinking into this illusion more and more. One day when Shihan called Ahnaf to discuss a serious matter from his point of view. Shihan said that,
"I have to go"
"Ok, where?"
"She is going to take me into her world, our souls will be together again. I will get freedom from this body as compared to a dead body."
"Wtf are you saying, nothing of this sort is happening. You just relax and everything will be fine."
Nothing will be fine still he said this but doesn't know what else to say in such situations. Shihan is repeating and insisting on the same thing again and again. Acting like he is going for sure, taking everyone's leave. To him everything is real and from the other end, everything looks like total madness. Shihan takes this illusion as real and the family as madness. Which one is correct?
A heavy storm went from their area last night. It's been raining all night long. During sunrise, Ahnaf's mom came to his room, found him on the floor. While checking she found him breathless, a soulless body.
