Around us, there are many social trends. If we start to mention there will be plenty of them and the list will obviously start with the negative ones. Yeah, there are a lot of negative trends that we are following knowingly or unknowingly and the results are always devastating. Well, today I will not be discussing the negative ones, rather I will point out a positive one and will share the biggest satisfaction of my life so far that I felt.
You know, Blood Donations are one of the most novel social trends I have seen so far. I did that three times so far, the first one was back in 2020 and the second one was last year and I have written about that experience here on hive. I mentioned this trend there too. So why am I writing about this again? This time it's special, it contains the greatest satisfaction of my life that I want to share with you guys.
Blood donation is always a satisfaction, we the youngsters don't donate in exchange for any monetary value. We do it out of love, out of respect, to feel the satisfaction of doing a novel thing, and want to have the blessing from the needy patient. That's all it matters to us. I hope you too got the same answers, right?
So, many of you might have known that my mother went through surgery last month. During that surgery, she needed two bags of blood, and her blood group is not among the common ones that are too much available. But you know what? Mine matches with my mother, yeap, we share the same blood group. I was afraid of the cross-matching part, I was praying wholeheartedly that no complications arose between us, thankfully everything was good in the end. What could be more satisfactory than transferring blood to your own mother? Nothing! And here you go, my mother, mothers are always caring. After recovering from the surgery she is always after me to eat fruits and other things while saying, "You have given blood, that needs to be recovered, eat this, eat that, bla bla bla." Instead of caring about her, she is always after me. Oh well, the second person was one of my cousins, my mother is also very grateful to him and showed enough care.
In the future, I will be donating blood for sure to others as usual I tend to do. I will be having the satisfaction of doing a novel work but this one would remain the most satisfying one. I will always be remembering this one before donating to someone else.
