Hace cinco años que empecé en el mundo del maquillaje, empecé con casi nada de hecho ya que no tenía muchas cosas de maquillaje y las que habían eran de mi mamá realmente, tenía solo un estuche, mi primer estuche de maquillaje que me habían regalado por los 15 años y traía sombras (tonos nudes), iluminador y rubor, era muy practico de hecho; unas brochas de mala calidad que había comprado para maquillarme en mis 15 años pero para mí eran una completa maravilla 🤭 y unas sombras de juguete que tenía por allí de cuando tenía como 12 años que para mí sorpresa pigmentaban muy bien para ser de niñas 😂. Con eso comencé a involucrarme en este mundo tan hermoso del maquillaje, dejándome llevar por la creatividad y justo allí encontré una de mis más grandes pasiones ✨.
Justo estábamos en pandemia cuando comencé y recuerdo que también había recién salido el álbum de J Balvin "Colores" dónde cada canción tenía como nombre un color, y rápidamente las redes sociales hicieron lo suyo y convirtieron eso en un Challenge de maquillaje, la idea claramente era hacer un maquillaje por cada canción, es decir por cada color. Yo tomé eso como un reto personal, no tenía nada de experiencia y mis conocimientos sobre el maquillaje eran casi nulos Pero las ganas estaban y eso era lo importante, así que me metí en Pinterest y busque ideas de maquillaje por cada color 🎨 y me puse en marcha.
El primero que hice fue el color amarillo 💛, cuando terminé ese maquillaje yo me sentía la maquilladora más increíble de este mundo jaja fue más como "logré hacer un maquillaje como el de la foto (según yo) y eso que no tengo casi nada", realmente era una niña feliz ☺️; y así paso con todos los maquillajes siguientes, obviamente que cuando por fin termine el desafío (una semana después) fue el impulso final que necesitaba para saber que definitivamente era feliz en este mundo 🌍.
Ahora, cinco años después volviendo a ver los maquillajes me di cuenta que eran realmente malos en todos los sentidos 😂, no tenía una buena técnica, ni conocimiento de colorimetría y pare de contar, pero si se notaban las ganas y la pasión y eso me dió mucha nostalgia. Así que decidí volver a hacer el Challenge solo que ahora, con una versión mejorada, con los maquillajes que la Génesis de ahora haría para cada color ✨.
Este post se lo dedicaré al color amarillo 💛 y al azúl 💙 ¡Manos a la obra! .
Five years ago I started in the world of makeup, I started with almost nothing in fact since I didn't have much makeup stuff and the ones I had were my mom's, I only had a case, my first makeup case that I had been given for my 15th birthday and it had shadows (nude shades), highlighter and blush, it was very practical indeed; some poor quality brushes that I had bought to make up for my 15th birthday but for me they were a complete marvel 🤭 and some toy shadows that I had around when I was about 12 years old that to my surprise pigmented very well for a girl 😂. With that I started to get involved in this beautiful world of makeup, letting myself get carried away by creativity and right there I found one of my greatest passions ✨.
We were just in pandemic when I started and I remember that J Balvin's album "Colores" had just come out, where each song was named after a color, and quickly the social networks did their thing and turned that into a makeup challenge, the idea was clearly to do a makeup for each song, that is to say for each color. I took that as a personal challenge, I had no experience and my knowledge about makeup was almost null, but the desire was there and that was the important thing, so I got on Pinterest and looked for makeup ideas for each color 🎨 and I got going.
The first one I did was the yellow color 💛, when I finished that makeup I felt like the most amazing makeup artist in this world haha it was more like "I managed to do a makeup like the one in the picture (according to me) and I have almost nothing", I was really a happy girl ☺️; and so it happened with all the following makeup, obviously when I finally finished the challenge (a week later) it was the final push I needed to know that I was definitely happy in this world.
Now, five years later, looking at the makeups again I realized that they were really bad in every way 😂, I didn't have a good technique, no knowledge of colorimetry and stop counting, but I could see the desire and passion and that made me very nostalgic. So I decided to do the Challenge again, only now, with an improved version, with the makeup that the Genesis of today would do for each color ✨.
This post I will dedicate to the yellow color 💛 and the blue 💙 Let's get to work! .
¿Por qué empezar por el color amarillo? Porque fue con el que empecé el desafío hace 5 años, por alguna razón la Génesis de 15 años eligió ese color.
Cabe destacar que yo realmente no soy fan de los maquillajes con colores amarillos así que este lo quise mezclar con color naranja para darle profundidad y para que me gustara también 😂.
Paso a paso
Empezamos rellenando nuestras cejas con sombra en los espacios que se vean vacíos.
Está vez preparé primero mi piel, así que aplicamos crema hidratante (la de tu preferencia), primer, base, corrector, blush líquido, sellamos con polvo compacto y aplicamos rubor compacto.
¡Hora de las sombras! Aplicamos corrector en nuestro párpado, con un pincel para difumianar aplicamos sombra amarilla por todo el párpado fijo.
Con un pincel menos grueso aplicamos sombra naranja desde la cuenca del ojo hacia abajo.
Con el mismo pincel aplicamos un naranja más oscuro casi rojizo desde la parte externa del ojo hacia adentro, y con otro pincel más grueso difuminamos todo.
Aplicamos iluminador amarillo en el lagrimal, no escatimen con el iluminador, que quede bien marcado.
Con un pincel fino aplicamos sombra naranja oscura y clara en la linea de agua inferior.
Aplicamos rímel y pegamos pestañas postizas.
Para los labios usamos un gloss (el de tu preferencia) y delineamos un poco con crayón marrón los bordes.
Y listo, realmente sencillo, cálido y ligero 💛🧡.
Why start with yellow? Because it was the one I started the challenge with 5 years ago, for some reason the 15 year old Genesis chose that color.
It's worth noting that I'm not really a fan of makeup with yellow colors so this one I wanted to mix it with orange to give it depth and to make me like it too 😂.
Step by step.
We start by filling in our brows with shadow in the spaces that look empty.
This time I prepped my skin first, so we applied moisturizer (your choice), primer, foundation, concealer, liquid blush, sealed with pressed powder and applied pressed blush.
Shadow time! We apply concealer on our eyelid, with a blending brush we apply yellow shadow all over the fixed eyelid.
With a thinner brush we apply orange shadow from the eye socket downwards.
With the same brush we apply a darker orange almost reddish from the outer part of the eye inwards, and with another thicker brush we blend it all.
Apply a yellow highlighter on the tear trough, do not skimp on the highlighter, make sure it is well marked.
With a fine brush we apply dark and light orange shadow on the lower waterline.
Apply mascara and glue false eyelashes.
For the lips we use a gloss (the one of your preference) and outline a little with brown crayon on the edges.
And ready, really simple, warm and light 💛🧡.
El siguiente maquillaje es el azul, es uno de mis colores favoritos por eso quise dejarme llevar con este color 💙.
Paso a paso
Empezamos rellenando nuestras cejas con sombra en los espacios que se vean vacíos.
Está vez preparé primero mi piel, así que aplicamos crema hidratante (la de tu preferencia), primer, base, corrector, blush líquido, sellamos con polvo compacto y aplicamos rubor compacto.
Una vez ya tengamos corrector o pre base en nuestros párpados, aplicamos sombra color marrón rojizo (tipo ladrillo 🧱) en la parte externa del párpado fijo.
Luego aplicamos sombra azul pálido en la parte interna del párpado fijo.
Con un pincel más fino agregaremos un poco de sombra negra en la parte externa del ojo y lo difuminamos muy bien ya que no queremos que se vea intenso y sobre todo, sobre puesta.
Aplicamos sombra azul cielo en el párpado móvil, desde el lagrimal hasta un poco más arriba de la cuenca del ojo. Lo llevamos hasta la mitad del parpado fijo.
Con delineador azul celeste 🩵 (amo ese color) delineamos esa parte azul que pintamos anteriormente, en la parte externa del párpado fijo haremos una especie de U, solo para agregar detalles.
Hacemos un delineado negro en toda la linea de pestañas y encima de ese una linea con el delineador azul.
Con crayón azul oscuro delineamos la linea de agua inferior.
Aplicamos rímel y pestañas postizas.
Para los labios, delinee con crayón marrón los bordes y rellené con labia nude.
Este me gustó más porque tiene más elementos que estan en armonía a entre si, es más elaborado pero no difícil ✨.
The next makeup is blue, it's one of my favorite colors so I wanted to let myself go with this color 💙.
Step by step.
We start by filling in our eyebrows with shadow in the spaces that look empty.
This time I prepped my skin first, so we applied moisturizer (your choice), primer, foundation, concealer, liquid blush, sealed with pressed powder and applied pressed blush.
Once we already have concealer or pre base on our eyelids, we apply reddish brown shadow (brick type 🧱) on the outer part of the fixed eyelid.
Then we apply pale blue shadow on the inner part of the fixed eyelid.
With a thinner brush we will add some black shadow on the outer part of the eye and blend it very well as we don't want it to look intense and above all, over laid.
We apply sky blue shadow on the mobile eyelid, from the tear trough to a little above the eye socket. We take it to the middle of the fixed eyelid.
With sky blue eyeliner 🩵 (I love that color) we outline that blue part we painted previously, on the outer part of the fixed eyelid we will make a kind of U, just to add details.
We do a black eyeliner on the whole lash line and on top of that a line with the blue eyeliner.
With dark blue crayon we outline the lower waterline.
Apply mascara and false eyelashes.
For the lips, I outlined with brown crayon around the edges and filled in with nude lipstick.
I liked this one better because it has more elements that are in harmony with each other, it is more elaborate but not difficult.
