The best Disney party ❤️🎂

¿Alguna vez han ido a una fiesta con temática de Disney? Definitivamente es uno de los mejores planes para una chica que creció con esas películas y series de televisión, de verdad Disney fue una gran parte de mi niñez y en cierta forma parte de mi personalidad es gracias a personajes icónicos que me formaron jajaja.

Mi prima cumplió años y quiso celebrarlo con esta temática ¡27 años tiene la chica 😂! Y aunque ella y yo no vivimos en la misma ciudad, todo se alineó para que yo pudiera estar ese día con ella y así pudiera disfrutar de esta fiesta tan icónica como ella ✨

Have you ever been to a Disney-themed party? It’s definitely one of the best things to do for a girl who grew up watching those movies and TV shows—seriously, Disney was a huge part of my childhood, and in a way, part of my personality is thanks to the iconic characters that shaped me, hahaha.

It was my cousin’s birthday, and she wanted to celebrate with this theme—the girl is 27 years old 😂! And even though she and I don’t live in the same city, everything worked out so I could be with her that day and enjoy this party, which was just as iconic as she is ✨

Todos tengamos que vestirnos de un personaje de Disney, ella fue la maravillosa Mia Thermopolis de "el diario de una princesa" y realmente se veía preciosa 🥹. Yo como no tuve mucho tiempo para preparar mi disfraz ya que no sabía que iba a asistir tuve que improvisar con lo que tenía y me disfrace de la icónica Edna Modas 😏, sin duda una muy buena elección 😊.

Otros personajes que asistieron fueron Sharpay Evans, Michie Torres, Lilo, La princesa Tiana y el príncipe Naveen (creo que fueron mis favoritos ✨), Megara, Vanessa y Candace (sensacional ese duo).

We all had to dress up as a Disney character; she was the wonderful Mia Thermopolis from The Princess Diaries, and she really looked gorgeous 🥹. Since I didn’t have much time to prepare my costume—I didn’t know I was going to attend—I had to improvise with what I had and dressed up as the iconic Edna Modas 😏, which was definitely a great choice 😊.

Other characters who attended were Sharpay Evans, Michie Torres, Lilo, Princess Tiana, and Prince Naveen (I think those were my favorites ✨), Megara, Vanessa, and Candace (that duo was sensational).

La decoración estuvo 1000/10 aunque no fue netamente de Disney si fue de una parte muy importante para los adolescentes y pre adolescentes de la época, las fabulosas revistas "Tú" y bueno gran parte de esos artistas de la portada salieron de la industria Disney así que al final si tenía que ver. Entre las caras más famosas están Miley Cyrus, The Jonas brothers (mis amores por siempre, Joe en específico) Demi Lovato, Selena Gómez, entre otros.

El pastel era lo más hermoso que te podías imaginar, literalmente era la figura que todos en algún momento dibujamos diciendo "y estás viendo Disney channel" realmente fue perfecto y a mí prima le brillaban los ojos cuando lo veía 🥹✨. Habían también galletitas en forma de Minnie y Mickey, todo tan hermoso.

La música era de Disney obviamente, en dónde la mayoría era de Camp Rock, High School Musical, las películas animadas que marcaron nuestra infancia, Lemonade Mouth, un poco más nuevas como Teen Beach Movie, de verdad que fue una locura lo felices que estábamos gritando a todo pulmón cada canción 😂.

The decorations were a 10 out of 10—even though they weren’t strictly Disney-themed, they were inspired by something very important to teens and preteens of that era: the fabulous “Tú” magazines. And, well, a lot of those cover stars came from the Disney industry, so in the end, it was related after all. Among the most famous faces were Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers (my forever crushes—Joe, specifically), Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and others.

The cake was the most beautiful thing you could imagine—it was literally the figure we’ve all drawn at some point while watching the Disney Channel. It was truly perfect, and my cousin’s eyes sparkled when she saw it 🥹✨. There were also Minnie and Mickey-shaped cookies—everything was so beautiful.

The music was Disney, obviously, with most of it from Camp Rock, High School Musical, the animated movies that defined our childhood, Lemonade Mouth, and some newer ones like Teen Beach Movie. It was seriously crazy how happy we were, screaming our lungs out to every song 😂.

Se hicieron juegos como responder preguntas de cultura general en dónde se armó cuatro parejas donde cada una competían por responder más preguntas y así la ganadora se llevaba un premio. También hicimos un quizz para ver quién conocía más a la cumpleañera (obviamente por ser su prima me llevé el segundo lugar, solo fui derrotada por su hermana).

Y para terminar los juegos hicimos competencia en parejas nuevamente en dónde la cumpleañera nos decía una categoría y teníamos que decirle un personaje de Disney que encajara en esa categoría... Evidentemente mi pareja de juego y yo ganamos 😏.

También hubo karaoke, coreografias, muchas risas y cuentos que compartir sobre como Disney influyó en nuestras vidas ❤️.

We played games like a general knowledge quiz, where we formed four pairs, each competing to answer the most questions—the winning pair took home a prize. We also did a quiz to see who knew the birthday girl best (obviously, since I’m her cousin, I took second place—I was only beaten by her sister).

And to wrap up the games, we had another pairs competition where the birthday girl would name a category, and we had to name a Disney character that fit into that category… Obviously, my partner and I won 😏.

There was also karaoke, dance routines, lots of laughter, and stories to share about how Disney has influenced our lives ❤️.

Definitivamente la generación que creció con Disney es la más feliz de todas, no había nada mejor que despertar y poner de una vez Disney channel para arreglarte antes del colegio y llegar de el y ver de una vez lo que estaban pasando. Adivinar la película con solo la intro tan característica de Disney, ver una serie nueva y engancharte al igual que con las películas. No hay nada más hermoso que los recuerdos que creamos 🥹.

The generation that grew up with Disney is definitely the happiest of all—there was nothing better than waking up and turning on the Disney Channel right away to get ready for school, and then coming home from school to see what was on. Guessing which movie it was just from that iconic Disney intro, watching a new series, and getting hooked on it just like with the movies. There’s nothing more beautiful than the memories we create 🥹.
