Hacía tiempo que quería renovar algunos básicos de mi cosmetiquera, así que no dudé en consentirme un poco. En esta oportunidad quiero hacer con ustedes un pequeño unboxing, mostrarles los empaque de cada uno, probar las texturas y hacer algunos swatches para que vean cómo lucen los tonos en la piel. ¡Acompáñenme a ver todo lo que compré!
Hello, dear Makeup Power community! I’m back here because today I went shopping at a very special place where I always buy my makeup products, and luckily for me, I found a few things I really needed. I’d been wanting to refresh some basics in my makeup bag for a while, so I didn’t hesitate to treat myself a little. This time, I want to do a little unboxing with you all, show you the packaging of each item, test the textures, and do some swatches so you can see how the shades look on the skin. Estaba buscando varias cosas que me hacían falta, empezando por una nueva paleta de sombras. Aunque ya tengo una con tonos espectaculares que sigo usando, quería renovarla un poco. Conseguí una paleta pequeña llamada eyes, de la marca Seven Cool. La elegí principalmente porque incluye el color amarillo, que me hacía muchísima falta. Al hacer los swatches, noté que algunos tonos como el verde y el naranja medio no tienen tanta pigmentación, pero aun así son colores con los que puedo trabajar súper bien preparándome la piel.
I was looking for a few things I needed, starting with a new eyeshadow palette. Even though I already have one with amazing shades that I still use, I wanted to refresh my collection a bit. I got a small palette called
eyes, by the brand Seven Cool. I chose it mainly because it includes yellow, which I really needed. When I swatched the colors, I noticed that some shades, like the green and the medium orange, aren’t very pigmented, but they’re still colors I can work with really well if I prep my skin properly.
Mientras exploraba la tienda, me topé por casualidad con una paleta de la marca USHAS. Al principio pensé que era de sombras comunes, pero resultó ser la Creature of the Night, ¡una paleta de face y body painting! Tenía muchísimo tiempo buscando pinturas corporales y jamás las conseguía, así que fue un hallazgo increíble. Me costó $7.70, trae unos 15 tonos distintos y cuando le hice los swatches quedé impactadísima, la pigmentación es súper potente y vibrante, justo como verán en las fotos. Estoy emocionada por estrenarla en mis próximos maquillajes artísticos.
While I was browsing the store, I stumbled upon a palette by the brand USHAS. At first I thought it was a regular eyeshadow palette, but it turned out to be “Creature of the Night”a facepainting palette! I’d been looking for body paint for ages and could never find any, so this was an amazing find. It cost me $7.70, comes with about 15 different shades, and when I swatched it, I was blown away: the pigmentation is super intense and vibrant, just as you’ll see in the photos. I’m excited to use it for the first time in my upcoming artistic makeup looks.
Por último, tenía muchas ganas de comprarme varios glosses y me traje cuatro opciones distintas
Lip Oil 'Shooting Lip' (Tono 4) de Max Glow es un brillo clarito con una consistencia súper agradable que no deja sensación pesada, ideal para mantener los labios hidratados.
Glosses tipo 'panal de abeja' de Golden Rose tienen un empaque amado en forma de casita de abeja y traen un arito en la tapa para colgarlos en el llavero o bolso. Elegí dos tonos: uno ciruela con destellos y un rosado con subtono naranja que queda divino.
Lifter Plump 'Maxi-Lip' de Warda Beauty este trae extracto de chile/pimiento. La vendedora me advirtió que picaba, pero al probarlo la sensación fue muy suave y deja un tono rosado precioso.
Max Glow “Shooting Lip” Lip Oil (Shade 4): A light-colored gloss with a super pleasant texture that doesn't feel heavy, ideal for keeping lips hydrated.
Golden Rose “Honeycomb” Lip Glosses: They come in adorable packaging shaped like a beehive and feature a little ring on the cap so you can hang them on your keychain or purse. I chose two shades: a shimmery plum and a pink with an orange undertone that looks gorgeous.
Warda Beauty “Maxi-Lip” Plumping Lip Balm: This one contains chili/pepper extract. The saleswoman warned me it would sting, but when I tried it, the sensation was very mild, and it leaves a beautiful pink tint.
Al hacerme los swatches en la mano de todos los productos de labios, quedé enamorada. Como actualmente estoy en la universidad y prefiero no ir demasiado cargada, estos tonos sutiles y frescos me vienen perfectos para el día a día sin caer en lo exagerado.
En general, todos los productos me salieron súper económicos. El más costoso fue la paleta de face painting, y el resto osciló entre $2.60 y $3.00. Quedé completamente satisfecha porque encajaron perfecto en mi presupuesto y la calidad me sorprendió muchísimo.
When I swatched all the lip products on my hand, I fell in love. Since I’m currently in college and prefer not to wear too much makeup, these subtle, fresh shades are perfect for everyday wear without looking overdone.
Overall, all the products were super affordable. The most expensive one was the face painting palette, and the rest ranged from $2.60 to $3.00. I was completely satisfied because they fit perfectly within my budget, and the quality really surprised me.
ambién me compré un corrector de la marca Mombray, ¡y qué gran acierto! Tiene un acabado mate muy bonito sin llegar a sentirse pesado en la piel, y lo mejor de todo es que dio exactamente con mi tono perfecto.
I also bought a concealer from the Mombray brand—and what a great choice! It has a really nice matte finish without feeling heavy on the skin, and best of all, it was exactly my perfect shade.
Aunque algunos detalles de pigmentación en las sombras requieran un extra de trabajo, soy una persona bastante creativa y sé que me las ingeniaré para sacarle el máximo provecho a todo. Estoy súper emocionada y feliz con mi compra, y ya me urge ponerme a practicar para traerles muy pronto un maquillaje artístico usando cada una de estas cositas.

Although some of the pigmentation details in the eyeshadows might require a little extra work, I’m a pretty creative person and I know I’ll figure out a way to get the most out of everything. I’m super excited and happy with my purchase, and I can’t wait to start practicing so I can bring you an artistic makeup look using each of these little gems very soon.
