Depression is a sad mood which we should approach the person with care in other to console them. The bible teaches us to always listen to one another's problem without judging them, which will ease their mind. A depressed teen should not be treated as weak or rebellious but as someone who needs care and encouragement.
Prayer is a good means to approach our problems to God, and is only prayer that we can communicate with God. Parents and trusted adults should encourage them to talk openly about their feelings while reminding them of God’s love and presence. In the book of Psalms assures us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted,” showing that God cares deeply for those who are hurting.
When we feel depressed seeking for help from our fellow humans is also good and helpful to us. Christians should create a safe environment where teenagers can express their struggles, receive appropriate help, and gradually regain hope, strength, and confidence.
