Prayer is the only way which we can use to communicate with God, but according to the teachings of the holy bible, prayer is not the only way which we can use to communicate with God. Prayer helps us to communicate our problems with God, seek for his forgiveness and ask Him for our daily needs. We are supposed to pray without season so that we can fully come close to God.
Drawing closer to God requires alot of sacrifices. Studying His words everyday, always praying and Obeying all his commandments most especially love your neighbour as you love yourself. Jesus taught that love for God should be demonstrated through obedience, showing that a close relationship with God involves both prayer and action.
