"I'm scared, I'm struggling, I'm lost." These words or variations are not usually associated with the self-help industry Yet they can be more powerful than most of the self assertions many of the self-help guru's preach.

I've looked into my fair share of self-help preachers, even got sucked up into some games and fancy catch phases but ultimately most of their approaches never worked for me. That is not to say they're not effective in their own way, and for the right person. personally, the only way out for me was to look within. To create art, to write, and to meditate have thus far been my soul saviors.

If I've learned anything about the self-help industry as a whole it is this: Everybody is saying the same things with the same ideas and usually the same techniques, only using different words and expressions. Everybody is basically echoing the masters in the field: Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Zeno ect...

I'm definitely no expert here. Just a single guy's opinion based on a metadata observation of a fairly wide cross-section. And I'm not bashing anyone's approach that effectively helps people and leads them to the best possible path in their lives, providing their not robbed of vast amounts of money in the process.

People often accuse many of the self-help industry of being money grabbers and whatnot, and some of them are, but the sheer massive amount of videos or blog posts many of these "money grabbers" give out for free tells me otherwise. That alone most people take for granted.
