Ever wonder if you broke even or profited from pack openings? Over on peakmonster.com there is a nice tool that can quickly scan an account latest 1,000 pack openings and makes an aggregate of the total $ worth of cards opened. A pretty nice tool to use to look up on the cards $ worth.

Once signed in on peakmonsters under the link above you replace "xxx" with any in game player name account and you can actually see their pack open results. Now its not to say I would do this to look over every other player's pack openings. Instead I am showing it as an example because I myself only purchase 1 pack which is not much of an analysis.
Here is a random player I am not going to name I did an analyze on. They opened 12 packs in the past month.
But the results are subpar as they only got a little over $13 worth of cards. It means each pack on average they pulled a little over $1 of cards, yet a booster pack is in the range of $3 - $4. $4 being its fair value.

This time the results are drastically in the favor of the player as they pulled two gold foils, one legend and one epic, resulting in an outstanding $118 in card values for 13 pack pulls. This is almost a 3x from original value of the booster packs at $4 x 13 = $52.
Conclusions
The odds of pulling a better card such as gold foil and legendary increases with the use of potions. Yet it still involves some luck as the two cases we just saw even with very similar amount of packs being opened one has their results 25% of face value of the packs while another 300% in gains relative to face value of the packs.
Overall peakmonsters made a very nice tool for players to see their $ worth of cards pooled and when they meet breakeven or yield more than they have hope for. This is a good way to look over the results without having to manually add up the values.
