Hello again fellow Splinterlands players. Friday has finally arrived and that means another set of pack openings! I will be buying the packs from the Splinterlands market and will not be using any from my current supply. I know it may be small, but it still helps bring some movement on the market. This weeks five packs will be the standard four Foundations packs and the other modern format pack will be from Escalation! I will be using the value shown in game on Splinterlands when looking at the details of each card to see if I’ve gained or lost value in the process. So let’s get to purchasing!
As you can see, I’ve once again utilized Credits to make my purchases. The Escalation pack cost 1820 Credits or $1.82. The four Foundations packs cost 166 combined credits or 16.6 cents. That’s a grand total of $1.98. Alright time to open these bad boys and see what I’ve got.
Let’s start with the Foundations packs again. Not bad! Comes out to (15) common cards, (1) rare card, and (4) epic cards. Still no legendary or gold foil cards in sight, but we’ll keep on pushing forward regardless. Now for the value for the money put in. Total value of all 20 cards is 43 cents, with the four epic cards being most of that! That comes out to a monetary gain of roughly $0.26!
Very happy with these pulls as it is my first Asel Alagosdil(of which I pulled 2!)and I’ll be able to upgrade another 5 cards. This Should hopefully help me be more successful on the battlefield!
Now on to the Escalation pack! That’s (4)common cards and (1) rare gold foil! Let’s see what value that brings. The Escalation pack cost $1.82 or 1820 credits. The total value of all (5) cards is $1.25, with the gold foil Lifeward Channeler being worth $1.10 all on its own! That’s a total loss of $0.57 in monetary value on this pack, but once again the cards should help me in the future on the battlefield. Thanks for reading through, and I hope you join me again for next weeks pack openings!
