Hello fellow Splinterlands players! Recently I have returned to land of Splinterlands, and having been battling in both modern and frontier formats for the first time in over a year! I had maintained a constant presence by fighting in my guild’s brawls, but had completely stopped playing ranked matches. With being in ranked battles again, I have decided to start buying and opening 5 packs a week to help bolster my card collection. I will be doing 4 Foundations packs and 1 other modern format pack, with this weeks being a Rebellion pack. Let’s get to buying!
As you can see from the images above, I used Credits to make my purchases. 1,629 credits for 1 Rebellion pack. 152 credits for 4 Foundations packs. For a grand total of 1,781 credits or $1.78. Let’s open them and see what I got!
Let’s start with the Foundations packs! That’s (14) common cards, (5) rare cards, and one epic card. All regular foil. For these packs I did not use potions. Let’s see what kinda of value I got for the money put in. The four packs cost me just over 15 cents. Total value of all 20 cards equals 35 cents, with the 2 archons helping boost that value.
Not bad and they should help on the battlefield since I now can combine and upgrade 4 cards, including the archon Aurelia!
Now to the one Rebellion pack! Thats (4) common cards with one being a gold foil and (1) epic card! Let’s see what kind of value that brings, if any. The Rebellion pack cost me 1,629 credits or roughly $1.30. The total value of all (5) cards is $0.80, with Executioner Karan bringing half the value at $0.40. Total loss of value of 50 cents, but again should be able to use these cards to help me in future battles. Thanks for reading through, and I hope you join me again next week for my next openings!
