Greetings, Battle Mages!
Here is what changed for your accounts this week, with nothing you need to set up unless a section says so.
See when your next battle is planned
The Battle Schedule card in Settings now shows the time of your account's next planned battle, in your own time zone. The My Account page shows the same time under Account health. Battles are planned for each account from its energy, your settings and the daily reset, so a live time replaced the old fixed minutes of the hour. In Discord, /schedule shows the same thing.
Countdowns to the reset and the season end
The My Accounts page now shows how long is left until the daily reset (00:00 UTC) and until the end of the ranked season, just above your account list. Both update on their own.
Clearer payment pages
The Payment page and Settings now have a "How paying works" box:
- To get prepaid credits, transfer DEC or SPS to
archmage.bank. - To pay the Wild fee, share part of your Wild rewards with
archmage.billing. - Nothing else counts. A reward share or an SPS delegation to
archmage.bankdoes not pay for anything. If you share rewards witharchmage.bankby mistake, My Account and Settings now warn you, and Settings has a button to remove it.
Also new: a transfer that fails on the blockchain (for example, because the balance was too low) shows as "failed" in your Payment history, with nothing taken from your wallet. Survival is always paid with credits, so Settings no longer asks for a Survival reward share. And the battle counts shown for your credits now use your own token's price, so Alpha and Beta holders see the right number.
Equalized Armor
Splinterlands added the Equalized Armor ruleset: every unit starts with the same armor, set by the highest armor on the field. Your account understands it and plays it like any other ruleset.
Behind the scenes
We keep improving the machinery that previews battles before your hand is chosen. This week's work means better hands across every league, with no change to how your account plays or to anything in your settings.
Do you need to do anything?
No. Every change above is live for every account. If you have a question, ask in Discord or reply below.
