It has been multiple months since I went through my card collection to merge my reward cards. The main reason it took so long is because in past seasons I have accumulated more Frontier packs than individual cards in Foundation. Now that I have been adding more 3x to 4x cards daily in silver league I am able to upgrade multiple of my reward cards. It may seem as a downgrade but having waited for multiple seasons there is a lot of progress to be seen from this duration.
Of the bat I was able to level up a Husk of the Hunter to level 2.
Then a Phlegmor level 2.
Not as impressive I have also continue merger many rares and epic cards where I am just shy of a handful of cards to move up in level 3 and 2 respectively. All in all I have now over 280 bcx in the latest reward cards.
I hope I can figure out what I will be doing with the gold foil rewards as I continue to level up my regular cards. Initial thought is to trade them in for more regular foils in hopes of accelerating the process of max leveling specific cards. On the flip side could also sell them for more DEC and continue staking assets. It will be one or the other choice since holding them won't yield me much and asset prices seem to continue to depreciate over time.
