In America, they have problem with toilet paper hoarding. Well.. now in Indonesia we have sugar hoarding. From nutritition stand point, it seems like people are uniformed about the "negative" side of sugar and lack knowledge of nutrition.
From several news sources below, it's mentioned there are scarcity of sugar in Indonesia. Allegedly, some "companies" are hoarding the sugar so they can sell it at higher price.

From my personal groceries shopping, I found that fresh vegetables and fruits were untouched. So are frozen vegetables, meat, and sausages. Rice, noodles, pasta, toilet paper are there but only one thing that seems to be missing. SUGAR.
