Home Sweet Home! While I know it might be temporary but I am enjoying it while it lasts.
In my last posts, I talked about the experience being home after a while in You Can’t Fix What You’re Too Close To and since then I've been traveling non-stop to some parts of Java. Now, coming back home, I finally feel like I could sit down and re-tell all my experiences traveling around the different parts of it.
But first, let me talk about the view I experienced on Friday traveling with 2 of my students. We visited a place called Eyoop Cafe which was located in Borobudur area, Magelang central Java. This cafe boasts beautiful sunset viewing deck. My students and I stayed from 4 PM to 8PM and we didn't even realize the time. It was really that comfortable.
If you're traveling to Indonesia, stayed overnight around Borobudur, definitely should be checking out this place. The snacks we tried was decent and the drinks were quite okay. So, don't miss out to see a breathtaking view for sunset here at a reasonable price compared to many places around the area.

Then, in the morning, I got the experience to walk with my mother around our neighborhood. I had the chance to see amazing sunrise which looks similar to sunset but it was way better. The place we walked to crosses many rice fields which reminds me of a vibe in Ubud except. Strangely, despite staying in my mother's home for many days, I didn't really know there is a place like this. It just shows that sometimes, we haven't explored our neighborhood enough to actually discover an amazing view, without traveling afar.
That day was also my first day back being a student. So, after the morning walk, I had some classes to attend. I am currently enrolled in Urban and Regional Planning major. It's not easy as I thought it would be so, I have some studying to-do and learn.
Our strawberry is popping out. So, I managed to plucked some and then had some classes. I also read a few books for land certification processes and regulation. It's all pretty in theory but in real life, having to work in this line of field, I'd say it's far from what the books like to theorize.
Then, I was prepping to go back home after a few days staying over at the office. You can say that going back home hits different. Once I reached home, I realized, I might be the problem after all. I went back home to a clean home but once I returned, things seems a bit disorganized and messy 🤣 so maybe after all, it's a ME problem. Who knows? But, I am enjoying my time home for now and catching up on all Hive stuff related and fixing stuff that is other than my main work.
