We all read the labels at the grocery store and it's filthy what goes into simple foods like bread, and cake. Why does it require 67 ingredients, and better yet, WHY do we keep buying it?
My sourdough bread has 3 ingredients. Flour, Water and Salt.
It's my best seller! People LOVE it. I have a few ladies who say it's the only bread that doesn't upset their stomach/esophagus. The fermentation breaks down gluten, and having no additives or preservatives are the reasons I assume.

I have a lady who buys them weekly, she swears that they are the only bread that she and her son can eat! Once again, very few ingredients: Flour, Water, Lard, Sugar, Yeast, Salt.
