Hello food lovers,

It's luckylaica@luckylaica again for another food recipe to share.

As I mentioned in my latest blog that I bought two fresh heaps of native shrimp at a very affordable price which I cook into two different dishes. One that is for breakfast that I made soup which I recently shared.

And now at this moment, I'm sharing the recipe that I made for our lunch.

STIR-FRIED VEGGIES WITH FRESH NATIVE SHRIMPS

This dish is somewhat like cooking chop suey if you're familiar with but the difference is the ingredient particularly the veggies I used. It's like chop suey but a Cebuano style I may say because the ingredients are those commonly available and economical veggies especially if you're on a budget.

I can say it's on budget and like Cebuano style because cooking chop suey is with those original ingredients like sugar peas, broccoli, cauliflower and baby corn which are just a few common ingredients for the cooking chop suey and sadly here in my area they are expensive. If you have tried eating in karenderias in the Philippines you find the same ingredients I used for chop suey.

Let's start cooking!

For my ingredients I used.

  • fresh native shrimps
  • cabbage
  • chayote
  • taro
  • potato
  • carrot
  • beans
  • onion
  • garlic
For the sauce and seasoning I used.

  • cornstarch dissolved in 1 cup water.
  • magic sarap
    Procedure

Cooking time.!

Step #1. In a pan, I saute onion and garlic until translucent and add shrimp after. Cook for 1 minute or until it turns red. Remove from pan and leave the onion and garlic.

Step #2. In the same pan, stir-fry vegetables for two minutes except for beans and cabbage.
