Sundays always feel like a little reset button, a day to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. It’s the perfect moment to reflect on the week that’s passed and think about what we want to carry into the one ahead.
Today, I’m feeling especially grateful for a personal accomplishment.
Yesterday, I finished sewing these beautiful Sunday outfits, working late into the night—past 10 PM! By the time I laid them down, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep immediately, without even taking a proper look at what I had created.
This morning, seeing the finished outfits in the light of day gave me a sense of pride and satisfaction. It reminded me that sometimes our best work comes from persistence and passion, even when we’re too tired to fully appreciate it in the moment.
My entry for these week.
This week, I'm planning to create these beautiful outfit, and the idea of making it for someone else makes it even more exciting. As I look at the picture of the design and imagine the final pieces, I can already picture the person wearing it, how the patterns and style will suit him perfectly. There’s something special about designing for someone else; it allows me to think beyond the fabric and envision the joy and confidence these outfit might bring.
Sundays are perfect for pausing and celebrating these small victories. What’s one thing you accomplished this week that you’re quietly proud of?
