Once again, it has been a while I haven't do a Tried N Tasted series and this time, I have decided to do something that usually lazy people or students would be interested to try out.
Behold...
Today, Let me introduce Kraft instant Mac N Cheese!
If it wasn't for the Buy 1 - Free 1 Clearance sale I would not even notice this one because most of the time I could get a whole pasta with meat and veg for the same price.
But it is always interesting to see what they have inside. I wish I could easily find cheese powder for these, but I guess instant ones would do too.

Not impressive at all... haha...
When first opened the pack, all I saw was tried macaroni with unknown white substance.
There is a specific instruction where you should put your water level... so you'll never miss it.
This is the powder in the pack inside, and as following the instruction, I cooked this in the microwave for 3 minutes...
But the difference was I did it for 2 + 1 minutes; checking it after 2 minutes and stir a little, before I let it continue to cook for a minute.
The thing was I realised that even for 2 minutes the water boiled inside almost overflow with the cheese powder! So it was a good thing that I split the cooking time.
In the end, there it was, all done for tasting.
Verdict....
Well the taste is a bit bland, probably because the Malaysian version of served Mac N Cheese has even more MSG which makes it tasty but I need a lot of water to wash it down.
Will I have this again?
I probably would if I need a quick fix for my hunger pangs, but I think I would most likely mix it with either pork jerky or baked bacon to have a better twist.
Even with a bit of dried mix herbs... even though it sounds and could taste weird. haha.
And if that is done it wouldn't be an original Mac N Cheese. haha.
