Today one of my friends @ana-maria, has mentioned to me
"I think you got your nerve hit"
Which COULD be true, maybe it is because I am also a minnow trying to make something out of it.
I cannot remember exactly where I read it, but I did noticed that someone mentioned NOT to misuse randowhale services, when someone just tries to dump posts and just pay the service for a higher vote.
And today, someone hit a nerve on me when I tried to use the service and I got really low votes in return.
Then when I was checking on randowhale's status, I realised that there's this one account that has been spamming nothing but one youtube video with the word "Source" that points to the original video, then he (looking at the account name) deliberately uses the service to boost his post.
If you are doing this once or twice within the day is fine; but this account has been doing this for hours and every hour he posts about 4 - 6 posts of YouTube and then just buy the service. Draining randowhale's voting power (even though his account has been replenishing with rewards)
This obviously is a minnow (or a farmer for what was called on other post to earn social media) who just want to get fast money
He does not care what his contents were. He just want to get money out of it. I have checked and pretty sure that 100% of his YouTube posts is not made by him.
I have checked with the gurus here and heard that we can use flag features, but that won't be really useful either as this guy just dumps in posts after post.
And this makes me feel like this guy is "counterfeiting money" out of borrowed content.
It's like posting an advertisement poster of a product, like this yummy wrap below:
And furthermore there is this one account that always comment "great! and keep the post going" posted there. I am now wondering are they in the same syndicate team.
This is actually my very first rant in Steemit. haha. I hope something is done to it otherwise it is just going to be nothing but duplicate junk contents, with people getting away from it.
Back to the issue of the heart. A wonderful unbreakable community such as Steemit can still be manipulated if greed is never out of the heart.
Edited:
I found this interesting verse while cleaning my desktop
I think this sounds appropriate for those who succumbs to greed to rig this system.
