Happy day to everyone, today when I was looking for a snack for my children, I came up with a recipe that I had not prepared for a long time. I took advantage of the fact that I had both ham and cheddar cheese and made some squares filled with these two ingredients. Previously I made these squares but with white cheese and it tasted like a delicious tequeño. What kid doesn't like a tequeño. So I thought this would be no exception and you would like this filling with ham and cheese. This is a practical and quick recipe and here I show you how to prepare it.

Feliz día para todos, hoy en búsqueda que realizar de merienda para mis hijos,se me ocurrió una receta que tenía muchos tiempo sin preparar. Aproveche que tenía tanto jamón como queso cheddar y realice unos cuadritos rellenos de estos dos ingredientes. Anteriormente le realizaba estos cuadritos pero con queso blanco y su sabor era de un rico tequeño. A qué ni niño no le gusta un tequeño. Así que pensé que está no sería la excepción y les gustaría este relleno con jamón y queso. Está es una receta práctica y rápida y aquí les muestro su preparación.

To start this practical recipe, we place 250 grams of leavened wheat flour in a container and add warm water, which must be previously placed on the fire with a little sugar and salt to taste. I like these squares to have that sweet touch that combines with the salty filling. I kneaded until I obtained a smooth dough.

Para empezar está práctica receta, colocamos los 250 gramos de harina de trigo leudante en un envase y agregamos agua tibia, que previamente se debe colocar al fuego con un poco de azúcar y sal al gusto. Me gusta que estos cuadritos tengan ese toque dulzón que se combina con lo salado de su relleno. Fui amasando hasta obtener una masa suave.

Once the dough is ready, stretch it very well and place the ham slices first and then the cheddar cheese slices on top. I proceeded to cut into strips forming the squares. Although they were not all the same size. They do have the same flavor. Once I had the cuts, I proceeded to join each of the squares on all sides.

Una vez lista la masa, estire muy bien y coloque primeramente las rodajas de jamón y encima las rodajas de queso cheddar. Procedí a cortar en tiras formando los cuadritos. Aunque no quedaron del mismo tamaño todos. Si tienen el mismo sabor. Una vez que ya tenía los cortes, procedí a unir por todos los lados cada uno de los cuadritos.

Fry over low heat until golden brown on both sides.

Lleve a freír a fuego bajo, hasta ver qué doraran por ambos lados.

A practical recipe that my children loved. In total I managed to make 20 squares, and I gave 10 to each one. Believe it or not they are counted to see who I gave the most 😄.

Una receta práctica que a mis hijos les encantó. En total logré realizar 20 cuadritos, y le di 10 a cada uno. Aunque no lo crean se cuentan para ver a quien le di más 😄.
