Waiting Patiently for Your Food
My days dedicated to the cats have become a routine; they've been special moments, this activity where I go to the park for workshop commitments. It's been great because afterward I constantly make a detour to visit my friends, and the occasional encounter allows me to enjoy them.

Esperando Pacientemente Su Comida
Se han convertido en una rutina mis días dedicados a los mininos; han sido momentos especiales, esta actividad en la que me dedico a ir al parque por razones de compromisos a un taller. Ha sido genial porque después me desvío a visitar constantemente a mis amigos y el encuentro ocasional me permite disfrutar de ellos.
But what can I tell you? Today I arrived earlier than usual and was so surprised to see practically the entire pack resting; others were just watching people pass by. I was surprised to see almost all of them; I already know them, they're always the same ones, I've photographed them before; this time they were all gathered together as if waiting for something. And then I was surprised when I heard some of the people who work at the park saying that when all the cats are gathered together, it's because they're waiting for their caretaker to bring them food.
Pero, ¿qué les cuento? Hoy vine más temprano que de costumbre y me sorprendió tanto ver prácticamente la manada completa en reposo; otros, nada más observaban a las personas pasar de un lugar a otro. Me sorprendió verlos a casi todos; ya los conozco, siempre son los mismos, los he fotografiado en otros momentos; esta vez estaban todos reunidos como esperando algo. Y de repente me sorprendió cuando oigo a algunas de las personas que trabajan en el parque, que dicen que cuando están todos los gatos reunidos, es porque esperan a su cuidador que les trae la comida.
And it was wonderful. As soon as the man appeared, they all ran after him, and it was so lovely to see them scampering about, looking for food; they kept following him at that pace. Those pictures I took were fantastic.
Y fue algo grandioso. Apenas apareció el señor, todos corrieron a su paso y fue algo muy lindo verlos corretear, buscando su alimento; así, a ese paso siguieron tras el señor. Esas imágenes que dejé plasmadas estuvieron geniales.
This is also a great opportunity for me to be in contact with nature; these days, despite the heat, the mornings have been cool because of the abundance of vegetation in the park, and another advantage is that the weather forecasts always predict some showers, and when it rains a little, the air cools down considerably.
También la ocasión para mí es propicia para estar en contacto con la naturaleza; estos días, a pesar de los días calurosos, las mañanas han estado frescas, por la cantidad de vegetación que tiene el parque, y otras de las ventajas es que los anuncios del clima siempre dicen que se van a presentar algunos chubascos y llueve algo y el ambiente se refresca totalmente.
During my walks in the park, I often see the cats scattered about, but each encounter is special; they're always waiting for something, a greeting, or hoping for some food. Usually, when I arrive at the park, it's at a specific time; I go straight to the workshop. There are times when I leave the activity very late and can't visit them at my leisure. But this day it was wonderful to see them running after their most precious friend; it was marvelous, with such a vibrant setting, full of natural colors; I loved the scene.
Durante mi recorrido en el parque suelo ver los mininos algunas veces dispersos, pero cada encuentro resulta especial; siempre están a la expectativa de algo, de un saludo o esperando algo de comida. Usualmente, cuando llego al parque, es a una hora específica; voy directo al taller. Hay momentos en que salgo muy tarde de la actividad y no los puedo visitar con tranquilidad. Pero este día fue maravilloso verlos correr detrás de su amigo más preciado; fue maravilloso, con un escenario tan vivo, de colores naturales; me encantó la escena.
For that reason, I try to visit them and, if possible, help them by bringing them food, because their mere presence enhances the beauty of the park and brings life to the environment; sharing the same space with them becomes an extraordinary experience, and it creates a commitment to continue giving them the necessary care. Por esa razón trato de visitarlos y, en lo posible, ayudarlos trayéndoles también alimento, porque tan solo su presencia refuerza la belleza del parque y le dan vida al ambiente; compartir con ellos el mismo espacio se torna una experiencia extraordinaria y surge el compromiso de seguirles dando el cuidado necesario.
