Sugarcane
Venezuela is one of the sugar cane producing countries, it is used primarily to obtain sugar that is obtained from the crystallization of the juice; To produce panela or papelón, the juice is cooked at high temperatures to obtain a very dense mixture and then it is placed in molds until it sets. Sugarcane is also used in the production of industrial alcohol and alcoholic beverages, as it is also used to fertilizer and animal feed. I make this introduction to tell you the following: on a regular outing in my city, I visited an exhibition, I loved the natural space where this exhibition was located, as I approached I observed one of the exhibitors introduce a cane through the extraction machine to remove the cane juice, this moment reminded me many years ago of my father, he would bring us the stem of the cane that he cut in a conuco that he had at his work: When he came home he would give us the stems and we would take care of cutting it into smaller pieces then we removed the very hard bark that covered it with a very sharp knife, we cut four sticks and we began to chew that sweet fiber sucking its juice until leaving the bagasse, this time I bought two glasses to drink, when they sell it as natural drink they put a squeeze of lemon on it and with the heat of the afternoon it goes down so well that it reconstitutes us to continue the walk, forget to ask for a stem to take home and revive from new my experience.
I wanted to take these photos to recognize the field work of these men and women who get up very early before the sun rises and begin to work the land, for their sustenance and with great ingenuity they build their work tools by hand,! cheers for them!

La Caña De Azúcar
Venezuela es uno de los países productores de caña de azúcar, se utiliza primordialmente para la obtención de azúcar que se obtiene a partir de la cristalización del jugo; para producir la panela o papelón el jugo es cocido a altas temperaturas para obtener una mezcla muy densa y luego se coloca en moldes hasta que cuaje, la caña de azúcar también se usa en la producción de alcohol industrial y bebidas alcohólicas, como también sirve para abono y alimento para animal. Esta introducción la hago para contarles lo siguiente: en una salida habitual por mi ciudad, visite una exposición me encanto el espacio tan natural donde se encontraba esta exhibición, mientras me acercaba observaba a uno de los expositores introducir una caña por la maquina extractora para sacar el jugo de caña, este momento me recordó hace muchos años a mi papa, él nos llevaba el tallo de la caña que el cortaba en un conuco que tenía en su trabajo: Cuando llegaba a casa nos daba los tallos y nosotros nos encargábamos de cortarla en trozos más pequeños luego le quitábamos la corteza muy dura que la cubría con un cuchillo muy afilado, cortábamos cuatro palitos y comenzábamos a masticar esa fibra dulce chupando su jugo hasta dejar el bagazo, esta vez compre dos vasos para tomar, cuando lo venden como bebida natural le colocan un chorrito de limón y con el calor de la tarde cae tan bien que nos reconstituye para seguir el paseo, olvide pedir un tallo para llevar a casa y revivir de nuevo mi experiencia.
Quise tomar estas fotos para reconocerles el trabajo de campo a estos hombres y mujeres que se levantan muy temprano ante de que salga el sol y comienzan a bregar la tierra, para su sustento y con mucho ingenio construyen de manera artesanal sus herramientas de trabajo, ¡salud por ellos!
