An Explosive Juice

We are privileged, because in our country we have all the tropical fruits and those that are not, we harvest a variety of fruits that we grow in all regions of the country and even in our home gardens. When we visit a popular market or a shopping mall, we go to the grocery section and see a diversity of fruits, but if we go out of our homes a few steps away, we find the most divine fruits, and seasonal fruits at better prices. It is a custom in our family to drink juice, as traditionally our grandmothers always accompanied a lunch with juice or milk. When they came home from school, they used to say that the children got too much sun and had to be refreshed with a drink.

These days for those beautiful memories, I went out especially to buy some fruit to make juice for lunch, I found melons on sale and also took the opportunity to opt for some cambures, as I have known these fruits combined generate an explosion of flavors, but also have a high content of potassium, magnesium, fiber, vitamin E, contributing to our good health. For their nutritional benefit, both eliminate toxins from our body and improve our circulation.

But this time I also wanted to add to this extraordinary juice a quarter of milky, which I had left in the pantry, completing it with the juice of a lime; in this way the juice would be creamy from the banana, refreshing from the melon and with a touch of acid from the lime, the milky also contains those nutritional benefits that I mentioned before, and it joins to contribute to this explosion of flavours. Here I explain my preparation.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of melon.
  • 1 banana.
  • 1/4 of milky.
  • 1 litre of very cold water.
  • 1 tbsp. sugar.
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla to taste.

Preparation:

We peel, remove the seeds and cut the melon into small pieces and reserve a little bit. Likewise, peel and slice the sweet potato, and then chop the milky milk into chunks.

Finally, place the melon reserve in a glass and add the juice. We enjoy our juice with the pieces of fruit.

Ingredientes:

  • 500 g de melón.
  • 1 banana.
  • 1/4 de lechosa
  • litro de agua bien fría.
  • 1 cda. de azúcar.
  • 1 limón.
  • Una cdta. de vainilla al gusto.
