Multi-Tasking

My journey today has taken me to different parts of the city, at home we are doing maintenance on a water tank in the house, I needed some things and I had to go to some hardware stores. After that I went to the University of the Ombudsman's Office to a workshop where I was invited about the Mistreatment of the Victim, here in these classrooms it is very cold and I forgot to bring a coat, although when I got to the room it was almost full, after a few minutes it started with a dynamic that the teachers do to break the ice and that's how I got to warm up.

Múltiples Tareas

Mi recorrido de hoy lo he tenido en diferentes partes de la ciudad, en casa estamos haciéndole mantenimiento a un tanque de agua de la casa, necesitaba algunas cosas y he tenido que pasearme por algunas ferreterías. Luego de ahí me trasladé a la Universidad de la Defensoría del Pueblo a un taller donde fui invitada sobre el Maltrato a la Victima, aquí en estas aulas hace mucho frío y se me olvido traer un abrigo, aunque al llegar al salón casi estaba lleno, después de unos minutos comenzó con una dinámica que los profesores hacen para romper el hielo y fue así como entre en calor.

Once the workshop was over, which lasted just two hours, it was very good, emphasising physical violence against women, children and adolescents, where they should denounce the aggressor and not remain silent.

Una vez terminado el taller que duró justamente dos horas, por demás estuvo muy bueno haciendo hincapié en la violencia física contra la mujer, niños, niñas y adolescentes, donde deben denunciar al agresor y no callar.

I left and as I had some time to spare, I took the time to walk along the beginning of the Avenida Andrés Bello and part of the Candelaria, this part of the centre of Caracas, is very central, with many businesses, shops, and a shopping centre that is the attraction of the moment as it is very busy. As I walked around, I was surprised by the amount of people going up and down the streets. This shop I came across is very allegorical, as all its advertisements are embedded in the wall, highlighting the price and variety of the product and the fluorescent colours that stand out from each other.

Me retire y como me sobró algo de tiempo, dedique el momento para recorrer el principio de la Avenida Andrés Bello y parte de la Candelaria, esta parte del centro de Caracas, es muy céntrica, cuenta con muchos negocios, comercios, y un centro comercial que es la atracción del momento ya que es muy concurrido. Mientras caminaba, sorprendió la cantidad de personas que suben y bajan por las calzadas. Este negocio que me encontré es muy alegórico, ya que todos sus anuncios están incrustados en la pared, destacando precio y variedad del producto y los colores fluorescentes que se destacan unos con otros.

Then I was struck by the architecture of this building in blue, a famous bank of our country, then stands this hotel, located on a corner, and the various residential buildings, also highlights its wide pavements where you can walk very quietly and without bumping into other people a particularity of this sector is that it has many commercial establishments, where residents do not have to go so far to get what they are looking for.

Luego me llamo la atención la arquitectura de este edificio en azul, de un famoso banco de nuestro país, luego sobresale este hotel, ubicado en una esquina, y los diferentes edificios residenciales, también destacan sus amplias aceras donde puedes caminar con mucha tranquilidad y sin tropezar con otras personas una particularidad de este sector es que cuenta, con muchos establecimientos comerciales, donde los residentes no tienen que ir tan lejos para conseguir lo que buscan.

On my walk I accidentally came across the Venezuelan Red Cross, founded on January 30, 1895, since then it has different specialties, providing service to the Venezuelan population, I happened to stop to ask about some tests of interest.

En mi caminata sin querer me encontré con la Cruz Roja Venezolana, fundada el 30 de enero de 1895, desde entonces cuenta con diferentes especialidades, prestando servicio a la población venezolana, casualmente me pare para preguntar sobre algunos exámenes de interés.

I really liked this place in Caracas, very different from others, very pleasant to walk around and continue to know its wide pavements and varied businesses, I loved it because you have everything in one place, the locals are very friendly and attentive people, it has a fleet of transport that takes you to the centre, east and west of the city. If we walk a little further we can get home on the Caracas Metro, the station is Parque Carabobo and its lines take you from East to West. I invite you to walk around our city, we will always find something interesting to know and live new adventures.

Realmente me gusto mucho este lugar de Caracas, muy diferente a otros muy agradable para caminar y seguir conociendo sus amplias aceras y variados negocios me encantaron porque todo lo tienes en un mismo lugar, los lugareños son personas muy amables y atentos, cuenta con una flota de transporte que te traslada, hasta el centro, este y oeste de la ciudad. Si caminamos un poco más podemos llegar a casa en el Metro de Caracas, la estación es Parque Carabobo y sus líneas te conducen de Este a Oeste. Les invito a pasear por nuestra Ciudad, siempre nos vamos a encontrar con algo interesante para conocer y vivir nuevas aventuras.
