Afghan cuisine has a style of its own. Fatty dishes are an important fuel in this nation of harsh landscapes and freezing winters, with oil used liberally and mutton fat traditionally added to many dishes.
I ordered Qabuli Pulaw, the national dish of Afghanistan, which was served with red kidney beans, Egg plant and Afghani bread on the side. It was quite filling and delicious..rich in fat though with good amount of ghee( clarified butter), and tender red meat. You must give it a try if you get a chance...have a look!
