I love Asian marts, it is the kind of stores that always makes me think like I traveled to a different country. There are so many new and awesome looking things, I get overwhelmed. Being a big chicken satay appreciator, I could not walk by that tiny packet of seasonings, even though I've made satays from scratch before I really wanted to try making it the convenient way. So let's get to it.

Here are some things you are going to need to cook this beside the spices:

  • cucumber;
  • thai chili pepper;
  • salt and sugar;
  • coconut milk;
  • cooking oil;
  • rice vinegar;
  • your choice of meat.

All you gotta do to prepare this delicious meal is to just follow the step by step instructions on the back of the packet, so that is why I am not going to go into the details of how to make this since you're gonna need the spice mix anyway :D.

There are two baggies in the packet, one of them is a mix for meat and the other one is a mix to prepare your peanut sauce. Basically you just marinate the chicken or pork for a couple hours, make the 2 sauces and you're good to good.
By the way, the cucumber sauce ingredients don't come with the seasoning, so you will have to buy the ingredients to make it separately.
