I hope you all are doing well, both in terms of health and happiness. Today, I am sharing a delicious recipe with you that goes by the name of Methi Paratha.

Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Methi Paratha is a perfect food dish for everyone. Not only is it flavorful, but it also brings health benefits. As soon as the winter begins, fenugreek becomes a common sight in the market. Alongside being used to make fenugreek vegetable, various dishes are prepared with it. Although Methi Paratha is a traditional food item, it is widely loved. Besides aiding digestion, it also helps control blood sugar. In such circumstances, Methi Paratha becomes a tasty and healthy option.

Making Methi Paratha is quite easy. This recipe doesn't require much time, and even children love to eat Methi Parathas. If you want to make tasty and crispy Methi Parathas, let's learn the simple recipe.

Ingredients:

  1. Whole Wheat Flour
  2. 300 grams Fenugreek Leaves (Methi)
  3. 1/4 cup Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  4. 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Paste
  5. 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Powder (Jeera)
  7. 1/2 teaspoon Kalonji
  8. 4 finely chopped Green Chilies
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions:

1 - Wash and chop the fenugreek leaves.

2 - In a large bowl, sift the wheat flour.

3 - Add chopped fenugreek leaves to the flour, and mix
well. Then, add red chili powder, cumin powder, carom seeds, ginger paste, kalonji, finely chopped green chilies, and salt. Mix everything thoroughly.

4 - Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Add 2 teaspoons of oil and knead again.

5 - Cover the dough and let it rest for half an hour.

6 After heating a pan on medium flame, add a little oil and spread it around. Take a ball of dough, roll it into a round or triangular shape like a paratha, and cook it on the pan. Flip it after a while, apply oil on the other side, and cook until golden brown and crispy. Repeat this process for all methi parathas.
