The origins of Gothic art and by default, of the great cathedrals, are certainly unusual and still today, when man projects the founding of colonies on Mars, as a shuttle for the conquest of space, little or nothing is known about them.

There are some authors, without a doubt more daring than the official historians, that is in its rise and fall a similar trajectory, and therefore suspicious, to the fate of the always fascinating Order of the Temple, in an even period of time, that goes from the end of the 12th century to the beginning of the 14th century, when it was dissolved and its great Master, Jaques de Molay, condemned to die at the stake.

Whether this assertion is true or not, what is remarkable, however, is that the cathedrals were the true giants of their time, as is shown in the photographs that accompany this post, where any building, both from that time and from later times, it was definitely small in comparison.
