Hello everyone. If you would like to eat something really special and healthy, do not hesitate to try the recipe that I will share with you today. I have to admit, when I heard about this recipe, I was a little skeptical. My mom saw the recipe on a TV show where celebrities cook dinner. Since she knows that I am a foodie and that I enjoy preparing and eating food, she called me and told me about the recipe. She wrote down the necessary ingredients. There were only a few of them. I told her that I wasn't sure how it would turn out but she said that I had to try it because the participants of the TV show were delighted when they tried it.

It didn't take much effort for her to convince me because I was curious. I bought the ingredients and started making this fancy and classy dish, appetizer, side dish, or dinner... You can call it whatever you want. 馃槉

The main ingredient of this dish is leek.

You determine the amount of all ingredients yourself. You can't go wrong. Chop the leeks.

Then salt the leeks and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of sugar.

Now you need pine nuts and raw hazelnuts.

Pine nuts are a bit of a mystery in my country. They are not often used in the diet and are mostly part of some classy dishes that many cannot afford because their price is quite high.

Pine nuts are edible pine seeds. They are very tasty and nutritious and have many positive effects on health. I'm a fan of all the little seeds that hold a lot of power. Pine nuts are extremely rich in proteins, minerals and vitamins. They have a lot of success in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, tuberculosis, kidney and digestive system disorders. They even have a positive effect on anxiety. Eat them and you will be calm and healthy. 馃槉

You are probably already familiar with the benefits of hazelnuts. Their flavor is one of my favorites.

IMG_20221105_135702.jpg

Place the hazelnuts over the leeks.

And then the pine nuts.

Drizzle with olive oil and bake.

IMG_20221105_140606.jpg

Bake the dish for half an hour.

When the dish is baked, you will need mozzarella cheese.

In the original recipe, the mozzarella is placed over the dish when it comes out of the oven, and that's what I did. But I was impatient waiting for the cheese to melt so maybe a better option is to put the mozzarella towards the end of the baking while the dish is in the oven. The choice is yours and this dish is delicious anyway!

You will be delighted by the perfect blend of flavors that is hard to describe in words.

You can also slice the mozzarella.

Melted or not, the mozzarella is a great finish to this great dish.

Life is made up of small pleasures and I am happy that I shared one of those with you. 馃槉
