Sunday Roast
It's Sunday, and we bought a beef roast for dinner at the grocery store. We also got home a bit later than planned which meant cooking the beef roast in our oven was no longer an option. Hmmm, what to do? A Sunday roast would indeed be nice.
The beef roast does fit in the air fryer, an interesting concept. This does mean that cooking times will need to be adjusted, but to what? A quick head scratch and 160 deg C for a total time of 90 minutes, the roast was just under 1.3 kg (2.8 lbs). Vegetables will done in the microwave (steamed) so they only need 17 minutes. Ok, the roast is back on.
The roast was a pre-marinated garlic and rosemary mini beef roast, so no prep work was required. It was quite nice, probably cooked for a bit long. I had two of my slices with mustard, and one with a hot sauce, would have preferred horseradish, but didn't find any in the house, must remember to buy some.
