Hey Steemians
Today, I show something completely different than usual; My homemade ice cream!
It's currently summer in Switzerland and there is nothing better than a self-made, cool ice cream on a hot summer day.
Disclaimer: I used an ice cream maker! You probably can't make the ice cream without an ice cream maker! I used the Krups Perfect Mix 9000.
Let's get started!
I made a blackberries, mirabelles ice cream. Mirabelles are sweet, plum-like fruits but just a little bit smaller.
Ingredients
- 150 grams of blackberries
- 150 grams of mirabelles without pits
- 250 grams of natural yoghurt
- 110 grams of caster sugar
That's all!
Firstly, I used a blender to make the mirabelles and the blackberries into a puree:
It already looks delicious:
After I made the puree, I added the sugar and the yoghurt to the fruit puree:
I accidentally added 150 grams of sugar instead of 110 grams.. It wasn't a big mistake so I just went on and mixed well:
Then I just put the mixture into the ice cream maker and waited about half an hour until I got some delicious, homemade ice cream! The ice cream maker consists of a cold bowl in which a motorized "spoon" turns the mixture around so it doesn't freeze completely but becomes ice cream.
See you soon!
