Mental health is not a competition and self-care is not a sport to compare ourselves. Many people have promoted in different ways that we live looking at others and forgetting about ourselves.
It leads us to confuse a profile with reality. To believe that if something looks good it is the same as it is. Profiles that project a lot of self-care and mental health become a source of guilt, of feeling that we don't do enough... and when we fall into that position we end up giving up (without having tried, since it looks very far away).
It is ironic perhaps, to write this here, but it is from the individual that we change the social and not the other way around. The collective, people, society, is not going to change and thus indirectly change society, or maybe not, maybe everything will remain the same, but the same if we change we realize and accept that it is not going to change and we start making more decisions to be calmer.
Besides wanting to solve everything. That's connecting with reality!! No posturing, just the way we are. An overwhelming everyday life, problems to be solved almost daily, But here we go, it's not that everything is bad either, there are also many joys in our lives.
It's always good to have, feet on the ground... Let's land...even doing things right, things can turn out badly. I personally hate inefficient positivism. Because things are not solved with the very named good vibe. It is solved with actions, and if in the end they are not solved, we accept it and rest easy knowing that we made a serious attempt.
So the best thing before you regulate anything, you have to realize when?... we deregulate ourselves, to keep calm in difficult moments, because we are not designed to carry everything quietly, so let's not punish our vulnerability or overestimate self-sufficiency. Let us not be afraid of silence, it is there that the soul reveals its truth.
I have spent nights that seem eternal and roads that are traveled with my heart turned to ashes, but I keep moving forward, even if it hurts, and I feel victorious because the darkness does not exist to destroy us, but to remind us how much we can resist before turning back on.
You can share your achievements, your process, but check if you don't do it to say “I fulfilled” instead of talking about something genuinely, because of your desire to tell your story or inspire others. The world has so much space where we all fit, if we really learned to live together and support our talents we would be extraordinary.
More love and respect for everyone, please, without turning off anyone's light.
