We survive by being who we really are not, and that's where life goes, when we swallow the story of others.
Do you know what's going on?
Fundamentally, most people live by repeating other people's ideas over and over again: what mom said, what the boss thought, what the guru on duty shouted on social networks, on Dr. google.
Do you realize that you are lost when you wonder who you are and don't know what to answer?
It's like that. They taught us to doubt ourselves, not to think too much, to go with the flow even if it drags us down.
But that comes at a price: your peace, your authenticity, your life. The truth is that if you keep swallowing other people's stories, you're going to choke on an existence that's not yours.
Do you want to start living? Then stop looking for answers in others.
Close the circle of obeying without question and open the space to listen to yourself. Take out the magnifying glass and look at yourself, honestly.
What you don't like, change it. What you are not, let go. Triumph over your own complexes, but do it, even if you make a mistake on the way.
Without a doubt, it's only when you make that break with yourself that you start to really live. The other thing, the thing before, was just to survive. Start building your truth, and just fuck it all up and move on.
There are times when everything is a disaster and the only thing left for you is to drop toads and snakes through your mouth.
But of course, when you do it you run the risk of appearing the flower eaters with their toxic positivism, the moralists (who think they are) the fundamental ones, with their emotional etiquette manual and the keyboard judges telling you how you should feel. And you, swallowing the anger, keeping there where I told you (the sun doesn't come) the frustration and anger, accumulating anxiety, pretending that everything is fine. Until you burst. And your mental and emotional health get worn down.
Arm yourself with courage, and look at the result.Right there you start to be the protagonist of your life, when you trust in what you're doing and you know that it's good for you and that you're not fucking anyone.
Sometimes we disguise as good intentions what is pure control and manipulation... And beware, beyond letting others free, it's about you being free, because when you feel that someone is clinging to you, most of the time, it's you, who has a closed fist, demanding, holding, waiting.
So this post today, is to tell you that I hope you are doing your best for yourself, and above all that you are not screwing anyone along the way. Just open your hand and let go of other people's ideas.
