I am writing to you today from a very special place. It's not my most careful post, but very sincere. I write to you from the place where I train every day. Exercise is the best tool to take care of the mind... and time has proved me right.
Has it happened to you that you understand everything rationally, but still feel anguish? Sometimes the problem is that we want to solve everything "thinking". But there are some realities that cannot be solved logically.
To calm the mind, we have to involve the body. Calmness is not just a concept, it is a physical state that requires concrete practices: exercise, breathing or meditation.
It's not that thinking doesn't work, it's just that it's not enough alone. True transformation happens when you integrate what you think with what your body feels.
Don't confuse being resilient with turning the page at once. Sometimes we think that after a difficulty if we continue as if nothing were happening we are stronger and no, things don't work like that.
Being strong can mean recovering, but to do so you have to process what you've been through, you have to give yourself the chance to heal. When you ignore the impact that something had on your life you only manage to desensitize yourself. And in an era dominated by AI, human sensitivity, our ability to feel is one of the few things that sets us apart. Pretending to carry on as if nothing were happening can be a big mistake.
Nor am I inviting you to let yourself be defeated, to stay flogging yourself. No, this is an invitation to ask yourself how this affected you, if you felt afraid, if something changed, if you need something. It is mainly not to follow on automatic.
I insist, to survive it's time to do what you need to solve, but if you want to take care of yourself, you must pay attention to how you live things while they are happening to you.
Let's lower our guard, sometimes we think that peace is the prize for solving our problems, when in fact our mental peace is the tool to be able to move through difficulties, adversities, bad moments.
Choosing different is also trained. When you understand your wounds, your way of loving changes: less automatic, more conscious.I share this reflection with you from the heart, hoping that it will serve you as much as it did me...
I hope you are well, that you are reading to me today, life is an echo. Is it worth it to have a vision board? In the last few days I saw a lot of controversy among people who thought that this practice (of putting in a visual or graphic way what we want for a year) was not worth it and that it rather generated anxiety.
Where does this come from? The truth is, we live in a cultural time in which resistance to everything that generates discomfort occurs. But we also meet people who believe that magically if they do the vision board they will achieve their goals. We got confused with the ideas of the demonstration and other topics…
Today we do not need to solve the rest of our life, we just need to take care of our breathing, space and calm right now.
