Sometimes my life is a bit haphazard, but I always accompany myself with good books, and music, on my art and culture routes.
Recently, I accompanied a good friend at the presentation of the book “Unforgettable Zulianos” an ambitious and necessary publishing project that is planned to continue with other biographies.
I could not write this post about someone for whom I do not feel sympathy, and in some cases, clear affection as a friend.
It is not usual to highlight the private and civil contribution to the development of the country.
The contribution of rulers, politicians and the military has been exaggerated in our history and the popular and collective contribution has been undermined, and in particular the contributions from education and culture and the private sectors.
A country is the expression of society in the course of time and all its stages. The author is aware of the importance of this type of historical memory.
While I was walking in the library, a musical thread was playing in the background. I immediately got into books and music, it was familiar to me, it reminded me of the new age music that in the 80s we put a lot of relaxation classes, massages, tai chi, meditation... or in the houses for a quiet and warm atmosphere, while I am reading, Galen.
But this music, which goes beyond the moment, I had never heard it in this way, it was very beautiful and evocative.
I closed my eyes. Little by little the music created images inside me; scenes were formed and were happening as if someone, already in old age, was narrating the journey of my own life.
Joyful scenes of families playing and laughing in the countryside, of children fluttering in the air and in the sun, I felt a lot of nature, friends talking and celebrating, a lot of living water also brought me music, and to bright days life happening
In my mind, I saw, images of calm bodies floating and dancing inside the blue sea, pierced by rays of the sun, rising towards the light... scenes of stillness, of solitude, at dusk, walking through a warm desert under starry nights...
The presentation of the book and the music came to an end.
With these topics for this week: 177 Galen, I told me why not? To write about what I experienced recently in this presentation of my friend's book. I've been remembering my life for a long time, like a biography, even in dreams I see myself quite a few times in my last house of coexistence with my parents. And yesterday I had that experience with that beautiful music... it was a magnificent moment, with that silent melody.
What better way to say goodbye to this month of October, with another evocative of intimacy and sweetness moment, image of the eternal feminine and linked to the woman I am, multiple, diverse, I'm the same woman born every day...to keep going on.
All the notes and all the silences have already sounded and floated while listening to the presentation of the book. The library is silent, and the books, they rest.
Today, humanism and the intellectual tradition of the West are vindicated in this route of art at all costs in order to live better in society.
