Happy Monday, dear Hivers! Last weekend, I visited the salon to avail myself a hair treatment. Over the past years, I've been a loyal customer at Hues and Palette as they've been one of the best here in the Philippines. So far i've tried their volume rebond, brazilian treatment, and Hair lamination.
For my recent visit, I initially wanted to have their volume rebond since the last time i had a rebond was summer of last year. However, when the hair specialist checked my hair strands, he suggested that i try their hair treatments instead since my hair is already naturally straight. The advantage of having a hair treatment is that it gives a healthy glow to my hair but doesn't damage the hair, unlike a rebond.
Knowing the fact that the price of their hair treatment is cheaper compared to volume rebond, I commend their hair specialist for thinking what is best for the hair of their customers and not what give them higher profit.
The procedure is about 3 hours long. Good thing i brought some books as my entertainment. As an over packer, i brought several books to choose from depending on my mood- poetry, novel, non fiction, and memoir.
In the end, I chose the poetry book by Thich Nhat Hanh. In case you didn't know, i did print and bind my own books during pandemic, as a hobby, so now i'm reading one of them.
Their bathroom is so beautiful i have to take a photo of it.
Finally, done with my hair treatment. Before the staff left, he instructed me not to wet my hair for 2 days to fully immerse the treatment and to avoid shampoo for a couple of days after.
Can't wait for my next self care visit at the salon. I've been thinking of having my hair bleached or permed next time.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
