As a non-Marvel fan, this is my first time watching Spiderman sequel. I wasn't expect anything and just tagged along with my boyfriend who's so excited. I imagined Marvel movies as a Science Fiction suitable for kids. Turns out, the movie carried both depth and lightness suitable for adults too. Or maybe our preferences have changed- a more simpler concept.
We watched on the first Friday of its showing day as we anticipate cinemas to be crowded on weekends.
The cinematography was beautiful. I especially love seeing views of UK and New York City. Tom Holland really suits to be Spiderman- he charismatic, bubbly, and hot (those biceps are to watch for *spoiler alert). Sadie's character, Jean Gray, glued the storyline altogether.
Lastly, the theme and message of the movie was impactful. Shedding light on the importance of human connection, embracing our uniqueness (or weirdness), changes within ourselves, and one's fear of being forgotten.
Overall, the movie is worth watching. It is ideal for all ages because no one's too old or young to have feelings.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
