This photo was captured from my cousin's house yesterday as we celebrated her birthday. It's been a while since I've looked at the city lights from above and thought how enormous the world can still be. These days, I've spend my time at home with my laptop either for work or just simply doom scrolling. But tonight, this shift in perspective moved something in me.
Sometimes, we just have to create our own fantasy in life. As they say, we live our life based on what we see. Some people see colorful things even in ugly conditions while some are too stubborn to acknowledge the blessings in front of them.
Like in my case, months ago, my life was a mess. I quit my job with nothing planned ahead. No new job in line or whatever. Then I spent another month being anxious to look for a new job and promised myself life will be great again once I found a job that allows me to work from home. Fast forward to now, I got the job and things looks promising, but I realized it gets boring.
Maybe what I need is a shift of perspective. Instead of waking up each day expecting a routinerary work, I can always look forward for something fun. Perhaps wake up earlier than usual and go for a morning walk, enjoy my coffee in our balcony, and tidy my office space to allow fresh air to come into my area. Or maybe do some reading, bead-works, or any hobbies during lunch break. I'm still figuring things out and adjusting to my new routine.
My dear Hivers, I hope we see the good in every situation and always strive to improve ourselves instead of wallowing on things that might go wrong.
I hope we keep going into the path for greatness.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love,
Jane
